Being stuck at home for months made everyone, including Maris Racal and Ricci Rivero, discover new passions to fight the cabin fever.
In an exclusive interview with Maris, the actress opened up about how she rediscovered her love for cooking and how it helped her fight the negativity during the quarantine.
Every time nalulungkot ako, kapag tinatamaan ako ng lungkot, magba-browse ako ng bagong gusto kong i-bake or iluto,” she added.
Maris also talked about the first cooking vlog she shared last May. There, she documented the very first time she tried to bake.
‘Yung pagluluto, ang pinakalagi kong inuulit-ulit is breakfast or brunch,” she said.
Meanwhile, basketball star Ricci said that the quarantine gave him the opportunity to reconnect with his family.
“Noong mga unang part [ng quarantine], hindi namin siya na-maximize talaga kasi hindi namin inexpect na magla-last talaga nang ganito katagal po,” he admitted. “Naging okay naman po [siya eventually] kasi may basketball na rin kami doon and then may space din kami to play volleyball so nakapaglaro rin kami ng brothers and cousins ko and sila mom po.”
The quarantine also gave Ricci the time to finally start his vlogging channel.
