"Make It With You" was among the ABS-CBN programs that were discontinued due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hence, it didn't quite get the ending it deserved.
But if it were up to the show's lead stars, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, they would have given the series a simple yet realistic finale
During the "Love From Home" Facebook Live last July 4, the stars apologized to their avid viewers for not being able to give a beautiful ending to Billie and Gabo's love story. The two then shared how they imagined the show's ending would have been.
“Kasi si Billie at si Gabo, simple lang talaga silang tao. Even though both of them are big dreamers, ang main goal lang naman nila is to live a simple life with their family. Iyon iyong ibibigay ko sa kanila,” Liza said.
“Siguro nakatira na lang sila sa province and meron lang siguro silang one bakery, like a family bakery that they will pass down to generations,” she added.
Meanwhile, Enrique agreed with Liza on keeping it realistic.
“Si Gabo, may-ari sila ng malaking kumpanya but I think he's willing to give that all away and just work on something that's just enough and something that will make him happy. I think 'yun ang gusto niya,” he shared.
It was in late May when the show was announced canceled, four months since it first aired in primetime last January.
