Comedian-host Donita Nose has tested positive for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In an interview with GMA News aired yesterday, July 27, Donita shared that he wasn't "surprised" that he tested positive for the virus since he had been feeling symptoms of the disease prior to getting tested. Among his symptoms were fever, headache, cough, diarrhea, and difficulty breathing.
As of July 27, the comedian was confined to an emergency room due to a shortage of rooms for COVID-19 patients.
“Mag-isa akong lumalaban dito ngayon, as in wala akong kasama, magsi-CR ako, ako lang,” he said.
Donita then assured everyone that he hadn't been attending to his hosting duties for the Kapuso afternoon game show "Wowowin" for weeks now, ever since the symptoms manifested. Willie Revillame was one of the first people who extended his help to his co-host.
Apart from Donita, comedian-director Michael V. also tested positive for the virus. He broke the news on his vlog last July 20.
