Dolphy is a Google Doodle!
Google Philippines paid tribute to the late King of Comedy, Rodolfo "Dolphy" Quizon by temporarily changing the Google logo today, July 25, on what would be his 92nd birthday.
Mervin Wenke, Head of Communications and Public Affairs for Google Philippines said, "Google Philippines is proud to showcase one of our country's iconic entertainment personalities to the world. Through this Google Doodle, we recognize and pay tribute to Dolphy's remarkable talent and passion which have made a significant impact in the local entertainment industry, bringing laughter to generations of Filipinos."
"We hope that today, everyone is reminded of Dolphy's legacy and how he taught everyone to find joy in everyday life."

He died on July 10, 2012 at the age of 83. He is survived by 18 children, Manuel, Salud, Rodolfo Jr., Wilfredo, Edgardo, Raul, Ronaldo, Enrico (Eric), Madonna, Jeffrey (Epy), Mariquita, Carlos, Geraldino, Edwin, Rommel, Vandolph, Zia, and Nicole.
