Sam Milby is back to work!
The actor's co-star in the upcoming series "Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin," Loren Burgos, shared a photo with Sam on the set of the teleserye today, July 17. In the caption she wrote, "Social distancing with Mr. Gabriel Villarosa 🎬" with the hashtag #lockdowntaping.
Prior to the photo, Sam confirmed that they are resuming the taping of the teleserye in an Instagram post last July 12. The actor also expressed his heartbreak over the decision to reject the ABS-CBN's franchise bid.
"This past week started with so much promise: the blessing of our taping resuming, feeling the first hints of 'normal' since the pandemic started. But the last two days... it's been hard to know what to feel, let alone what to say," he wrote in the caption.
"To be honest, I'm still in disbelief with the decision that was made and the volumes it speaks about the future of our nation. I have so much respect and admiration for the ABS-CBN Bosses and how they handled the hearings with humility, respect, and willingness to grow. This is still hard to accept, and the challenges appear insurmountable but we have an even bigger God and I put my faith in Him. Babangon uli tayo Kapamilya. ❤️💚💙" he added.
Apart from Sam, "Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin" also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado, and Ms. Maricel Soriano.
The show was initially set for a March premiere but had to be postponed due to the changes in programming amid the coronavirus pandemic.
