Sunshine Cruz finally broke her silence about the continuous sexualization she and her daughters have been subjected to on social media.
On Instagram yesterday, July 14, the actress lashed out at the people who have been objectifying her, Angelina, Chesca, and Sam.
"Wala kaming sinasaktan at inaapakang tao. Hindi pagkain o bagay ang mga babae. Ano'ng satisfaction ang nakukuha niyo sa pambabastos niyo sa amin? I may have done sexy movies in the past but it is never a valid reason to treat us this way," she wrote in the caption.
Sunshine also shared more screenshots of the online harassment she has been experiencing in a series of Instagram Stories.
In the two photos, Sunshine revealed that three of the men who made inappropriate comments were actually schoolmates of her daughters.
Sunshine's eldest Angelica also aired her thoughts on Twitter last July 12, blasting the men who were responsible and pointing out that her younger sisters are minors.
"I’m so tired seeing people defending the people who sexualize my little sisters. MY SISTERS ARE MINORS. Those defending these predators, do you expect us to swim in jeans? Make it make sense. It’s not funny and it’s not amusing. it’s disgusting," she tweeted.
Angelina, Sam, and Chesca are Sunshine's daughters with ex-husband Cesar Montano.
