Bela Padilla formally filed a complaint against a man who attempted to go inside her home.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe yesterday, July 13, the actress personally went to a Mandaluyong City police station after a 33-year-old man followed her to her condominium unit last July 9.
"Merong lalaking nagpupumilit umakyat sa unit ko, ang tagal bago siya napaalis. Dumating na 'yung barangay, pinakiusapan na siya ng guard, ayaw pa rin umalis umabot na actually nang 30 minutes," she recalled.
Bela then asked the man for an ID to see if they were acquainted because he had initially introduced himself as a former classmate.
"Nagsabi siya na kaklase ko daw siya sa Davao, eh hindi naman ako nag-aral sa Davao. Tapos nag-iba na 'yung kuwento niya, sabi niya boyfriend ko daw siya, pero I never met this guy," she said.
The man, who had brought along two other companions, eventually left. However, he continued to harass the actress. Her hairstylist received a message from an unknown man whose photo matched with the ID of the guy who insisted to go to her unit.
"Nagpalitan sila ng message ng aking hairstylist at sinasabi niyang gusto niya raw ako makita at mahal na mahal niya raw ako," she said.
Bela filed an unjust vexation complaint to the man and warned him to never follow her to her unit again.
"Don’t come to my house ever again. You are never invited," she insisted.
