“Make It With You” director Theodore Boborol released a statement following the cancellation of the Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil hit television series.
Direk Ted took to Twitter last June 5 to explain why the show wasn’t part of the line-up of returning programs via the all-new Kapamilya Channel.
“Believe me. It was also difficult for everyone,” he tweeted.
He continued, “ABS-CBN was already badly hit by the pandemic, and then suffered a double blow when its renewal was not granted. Decisions had to be made and we respect and understand why it ought to be done.”

Direk Ted then answered a fan’s query as to why other television series like “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “Love Thy Woman” will be returning, but not the LizQuen serye.
“The returning dramas have multiple episodes already in the can even before the pandemic hit,” he said.
The director then asked everyone to support all the upcoming shows that will soon be launched, which includes a new LizQuen teleserye that was initially announced by Liza’s manager Ogie Diaz through a Facebook post.
“We are not the only one. Let us just support the shows that will continue airing and the new shows that will be launched,” he added.
The Kapamilya Channel will be available starting June 13 through SKYCable (Channel 8 for SD and Channel 167 for HD), Cablelink (Channel 😎, and G Sat Direct TV (Channel 2)!
