Kathryn, Liza, Nadine join the call to junk the Anti-Terrorism Bill

Three of the most admired Kapamilya leading ladies, Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Soberano, and Nadine Lustre, have all aired out their opinions regarding the Anti-Terrorism Bill.

The actresses took to their respective social media accounts to take a stand against the bill by using the hashtag #JunkTerrorBillNow. They also helped disseminate information and awareness on why they think the bill shouldn’t be passed.

The three actresses were just among the many Filipino celebrities who have joined the call to junk the bill. Among the other stars who backed the #JunkTerrorBillNow campaign include Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Anne Curtis, Enchong Dee, Iza Calzado, and Khalil Ramos.

Anne even shared her own thoughts about the bill after personally reading it.

"After reading the bill, from my understanding, it's quite broad and vague leaving room for different interpretations which could potentially take away each person's basic rights of freedom of speech and acts of even peaceful protests," she wrote.

The Anti-Terrorism Bill was approved by the House of Representatives on its third and final reading yesterday, June 3.
