A month after Kim Chiu released her #BawalLumabas merchandise, the actress was able to raise 300 thousand pesos, which she has donated to help fund COVID-19 mass testing in the country.
The "Love Thy Woman" actress happily shared the news on her Instagram earlier today, June 30. In a series of photos she uploaded, Kim was seen packing relief kits to be distributed to 1,500 families in need amid the pandemic.
In one photo, we also saw Kim in a conference call with "Shop & Share" owners Angel Locsin, Dimples Romana, and Anne Curtis.
"Thank you po sa lahat ng sumuporta sa #BawalLumabasMerch! We were able to give food package sa 1,500 families and 300 thousand pesos for mass testing donated to 'Shop and Share!'" she wrote.
"Maraming, maraming salamat! Journey was like a rollercoaster ride but I'm glad it ended this way 🙏🏻😊" she added.
Prior to this, Kim was also spotted distributing relief packs to jeepney drivers who remain unemployed due to the pandemic last week.
