Daniel Padilla couldn’t be prouder of the fans of his love team with reel-and-real life partner Kathryn Bernardo, after the KathNiel fandom's COVID-19 relief efforts last May for the City of Manila.
In an exclusive interview with the actor, Daniel acknowledged their heartwarming initiative amid the pandemic.
Kusang gawa nilang ginagawa 'yan so nakakaproud,” he said.
Daniel also appreciated the fact that their fandom has been with them not only through their kilig moments, but also during the toughest times.
"I'm very, very proud sa ginagawa nila."
It was in late May when the KathNiel fandom donated food packs to the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) for the benefit of street dwellers sheltered by the MDSW.
The relief efforts were part of the fandom's way of celebrating the couple's 8th anniversary last May 25.
Apart from that, the KathNiels also made headlines for their #WeBlockAsOne campaign which aimed to report, block, and mute trolls spreading fake news and hate speech on Twitter.
