Angel Locsin once again showed that she's willing to go the extra mile to help other people amid the pandemic.
In a series of photos Jovelyn Gagan Sangcap shared on Facebook last June 16, Angel was seen preparing what seemed to be a lunch for a family in Mauban, Quezon. The actress then joined them as part of her docu-reality show, “Iba ‘Yan.”
The netizen then praised Angel for her humility and grace towards the people she has encountered during the shoot, as well as her down-to-earth fiance Neil Arce, who is directing the show.
“Napaka down-to-earth mo, Darna. 😘 Sobrang nakakahiya na makipag-usap sa’yo lalo na noong tinanong mo pangalan namin. 😊 Pati future husband mo ang bait lalo na rin po ‘yung mga staff mo. Sana next time ma-hug naman kita with picture 😍,” she wrote in the caption.
“Iba ‘Yan” puts the spotlight on heartwarming stories of Filipinos lending a hand to those in need during times of crisis. It airs every Sunday, 6 PM, on the Kapamilya Channel.
Apart from their efforts for the show, Angel also launched her own campaign to help raise funds for mass COVID-19 testing in the country through the fundraising project, "Shop & Share." She also successfully wrapped up her #UniTENTWeStandPH campaign, which has provided hundreds of isolation tents for hospitals nationwide, last April.
