The Mikhail Red zombie-thriller recently made a record-breaking premiere on KBO, which goes to show how much people wanted to see this film.
For those who still haven’t seen it, “Block Z” revolves around a group of friends who needed to escape their school after a patient that came back from the dead infected the campus with a virus.
Nothing beats a film that leaves us pondering over life and friendship after a watch. That's what this 2019 blockbuster film gave us. It starred none other than Angelica Panganiban, Bea Alonzo, and Richard Gutierrez.
“James and Pat and Dave”
The much-awaited sequel of “Vince and Kath and James” was totally worth the wait, as we finally witnessed how the unchosen one James (Ronnie Alonte) finally got his own chance at love in Pat (Loisa Andalio). This rom-com is the perfect movie if you want a good dose of kilig amid these trying times.
Up for a horror movie night with the fam? Derick Cabrido’s “Clarita” will give you chills, as the plot revolves around a woman who was possessed by a demon. It’s based on a true story by the way, so be prepared for a real-life scare.
One of the top grossers in the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2019, “Open” gave us a clearer understanding of open relationships and its consequences. So if you’re currently in a “stale” relationship and thinking of spicing it up, you might want to watch this film before you push through with your plans!
