What to watch on Cinema One this weekend: ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ ‘Exes Baggage’ + more!

It’s going to be a rollercoaster of emotions as Cinema One bring you some of the greatest blockbuster movies for a fun movie marathon weekend!

This May 30 (Saturday) and May 31 (Sunday), Cinema One brings us the perfect mix of comedy, romance, and horror. From the Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards blockbuster “Hello, Love, Goodbye” to the Vice Ganda classic “Sisterakas,” there’s a movie that will fit your taste when you tune in to the channel this weekend.

May 30

10:15 AM - “Hello, Love, Goodbye”

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina

Starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards

We will never get tired of watching this 2019 romance over and over again. It gave us the heartwarming love story of Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan (Alden), and tackled the reality of modern day OFWs’ lives.

12:15 PM - “Sisterakas”

Directed by Wenn V. Deramas

Starring Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino, and Ai Ai Delas Alas

Prepare to laugh your hearts out with the iconic comedy trio of Vice, Kris, and Ai-Ai in this 2012 movie that tells the story of a rivalry between half-sisters. Plus, there's a hint of a love story on the side courtesy of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla!

3:15 PM - “Alone/Together”

Directed by Antoinette Jadaone

Starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil

Expect a more mature Liza and Enrique in this 2019 romance which tells the story of former college lovers who meet again several years after they broke up. Now leading different lives with new partners, the two will be torn between rekindling an old flame and doing what’s right.

5:15 PM - “The Panti Sisters”

Directed by Jun Robles Lana

Starring Paolo Ballesteros, Christian Bables, and Martin Del Rosario

It’s time for more laughs with the hilarious trio of Paolo, Christian, and Martin whose characters race to give their ailing father a grandchild. The twist? They're all gay.

7:15 PM - “Three Words to Forever”

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina

Starring Sharon Cuneta, Richard Gomez, and Kathryn Bernardo

What will you do if you find out that your parents are secretly planning to separate? In this 2018 family drama, you will surely learn a thing or two about family, love, and life in general.

9:15 PM - “Hellcome Home”

Directed by Bobby Bonifacio Jr.

Starring Dennis Trillo, Beauty Gonzalez, Raymond Bagatsing, and Alyssa Muhlach

If you weren’t able to catch the 2019 horror flick on Cinema One earlier this week, then now is the time to do so! Just make sure that you’re not alone at home though as the movie centers on "bad spirits" in houses.

11:15 PM - “Fantastica”

Directed by Barry Gonzalez

Starring Vice Ganda, Richard Gutierrez, and Dingdong Dantes

To cap off your Saturday night, Vice will give you unli laughs — alongside a star-studded ensemble and two handsome leading men — while he tries to fight for his struggling perya.

Directed by Ruel S. Bayani

Starring Bea Alonzo, Paulo Avelino, and Derek Ramsay

Will you still push through with your wedding if you find out a deep, dark secret from your partner's past? Weigh in on Lia’s (Bea) decision in this 2018 film!

3:15 PM - “Exes Baggage”

Directed by Dan Villegas

Starring Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino

Can you make a new relationship work if you still have baggage from your past relationships? Save yourself some pain and let Pia (Angelica) and Nix (Carlo) answer that question for you.

5:15 PM - “Isa Pa With Feelings”

Directed by Prime Cruz

Starring Maine Mendoza and Carlo Aquino

Friends-turned-lovers Mara (Maine) and Gali (Carlo) will not just give you a unique love story, they will also teach you a valuable lesson about not taking the small things for granted.

9:15 PM - “Dubai”

Directed by Rory Quintos

Starring Aga Muhlach and John Lloyd Cruz

Another iconic OFW movie, “Dubai” centers around two brothers whose dream to move to Canada gets derailed when they fall in love with the same woman.
