After turning "Bawal Lumabas" into an official track, Kim Chiu has now released merchandise inspired by the song to give back to those in need.
The "Love Thy Woman" actress talked about her fundraising venture on Instagram yesterday, May 26, as she shared a peek of the t-shirts she will be selling. Every peso earned from her new merch line will be donated, a portion will be used to buy food packages for various charities. Kim will also donate to Angel Locsin's Shop & Share campaign, which aims to help fund mass COVID-19 testing in the country.
“CLASSMATES! 🛎🛎🛎 Here it is!!! Part ng open letter ni Adrian Crisanto ang #BawalLumabasMerch, hindi para pagkakitaan ko kung hindi para sa mga kababayan natin na #BawalLumabas pa rin,” she wrote.
“Proceeds of this limited edition merch will be donated for charity (food packages) and hopefully sana makapagdonate din tayo sa project ni Angel Locsin na mass testing project. 🙏🏻 Sana masabi na natin na one day, pwede na tayong lumabas na LIGTAS. 🙏🏻❤️” she added.
The shirts, which feature the “Bawal Lumabas” and “Law of Classroom” catchphrases, are available at P295 each.
