‘Ka Oryang’: A film set in the Marcos era is coming to Cinema One!

The 2011 film centers on Gregoria (Alessandra De Rossi) who witnessed the revolutions that took place during the Martial Law era.

‘Ka Oryang’: A film set in the Marcos era is coming to Cinema One!

The Mother’s Day celebration continues at Cinema One as Sari Dalena’s “Ka Oryang” premieres this May 17!

The drama follows Georgia, played by Alessandra De Rossi, who witnessed revolutions flare up during the Martial Law era. Gregoria was among the several other women who fought for the rights of Filipinos who suffered under the Marcos era.

The film was an official entry to the 2011 Cinema One Originals Film Festival, and brought home Best Picture and Best Director for Direk Sari.

“Ka Oryang” also stars Joem Bascon, Kalila Aguilos, Walter Arenio, Angeli Bayani, Emilio Garcia, Alex Medina, and Che Ramos.
