5 talented actors who are also great musicians

Making it big in the showbiz industry in a sea of talented people is already a struggle in itself. And then there are these celebrities who are not just drop dead gorgeous and incredibly talented actors, but are also passionate and successful musicians.

Iba po sila. Kinuha na nila lahat ng talent.

Here, we listed down five celebrities that have the best of both worlds, juggling their acting and music careers with ease:

1. Daniel Padilla

Daniel might be hailed as the Box Office King, but the Kapamilya actor is actually big on making music. He was once part of “Parking 5” a band which disbanded in 2014, and has since pursued a solo career in music. He’s already had four sold out arena concerts under his belt, as well as two double platinum albums!

His latest hit "Mabagal" was a collaboration with Moira dela Torre and was such a bop that it spent weeks on top charts (and in our brains. This song is so LSS-worthy.)

2. Ian Veneracion

Not many people know the musical side of Ian, but the actor is an amazing performer. In fact, he’s already headlined several sold out concerts — proof of how much people love his music.

Here's him performing on stage for the "#LoveGoals: A Love To Last" concert:

3. Arci Munoz

Even before she became one of the most in demand leading ladies today, Arci was actually a bonafide rock star. She was — and still is — the vocalist of the band Philia when she shot to fame as a Kapamilya in the 2014 series “Pasion De Amor.”

4. Juan Karlos Labajo

Juan Karlos first rose to fame when he finished third in the first-ever season of “The Voice Kids.” Since then, he appeared in a number of Kapamilya shows including “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and in the primetime series “A Love To Last.”

He then pursued his path in music by forming his own band. Back in 2018, they released their single "Buwan" and aminin mo, memorize mo pa rin 'to hanggang ngayon.

5. Kean Cipriano

He was best known as the frontman of Callalily, but Kean later ventured into film. He showed his comedic side in the 2011 comedy flicks “Praybeyt Benjamin” and “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank,” as well as in the 2012 barkada movie “The Reunion.”

He continues to be one of our top musician crushes. If only he could hear us shouting his name.
