5 of Paulo Avelino’s best scenes on the big screen

There's no denying that birthday boy Paulo Avelino is one of the most talented actors in the showbiz industry.

And while we love seeing him on television, his big screen roles are just as notable as “On The Wings of Love’s” Simon and “The General’s Daughter’s” Franco:

Roman in “Pagpag”

Paulo proved that he can unleash his dramatic skills even in such a horror film when he portrayed the antagonist Roman in "Pagpag." In one of his scenes, he managed to melt everyone’s hearts as his character mourned the death of his child.

Bryan in “The Unmarried Wife”

In the 2016 film, Paulo made us fall in love with his character Bryan whose bad boy appeal will immediately draw you in.

But it turns out, every man has a side that they don’t let others see — he got pretty aggressive when Anne (Angelica Panganiban) tried to break up with him. The level of rage he showed in this movie? Unmatched.

Philip in “Kasal”

Paulo's role as the eligible and successful Philip in this 2018 hit drama might be his best yet. This man is so good at playing characters with rich inner lives that we totally felt his character’s desperation as he tried to keep his sexuality a secret.

The confrontation scene in this movie was top tier and we had no choice but to bow down not only Paulo but also to the Movie Queen Bea Alonzo.
