Angel Locsin has successfully put up a total of 22 isolation and sanitation tents at 11 hospitals in Manila and neighboring provinces.
Through the #UniTENTweStandPH crowd funding campaign — which Angel set up with fiance Neil Arce and Dimples Romana — 12 x 24-meter tents have been donated to the first batch of hospital beneficiaries last April 1. Tents have been set up at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center and Diliman Doctors Hospital.
According to Angel, there are 38 other more hospitals they are planning to donate to, including the PNP General Hospital.
Among the celebrities who pledged help for the actress’ campaign were Anne Curtis and husband Erwan Heussaff, and Regine Velasquez and husband Ogie Alcasid.
Apart from hospitals, Angel and Neil also donated three tents for the PNP's frontliners in Camp Crame.
The campaign, which has raised over 3 million pesos, aims to provide isolation tents for patients in various hospitals in Luzon.
