“Four Sisters and a Wedding” stars Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao, Enchong Dee, Toni Gonzaga, and Angel Locsin are all doing their best to help out those who are in need during the Coronavirus pandemic.
First up, there is Angel, who raised upwards of 10 million pesos in donations for #UniTENTweStandPH, a campaign to help solve overcrowding in hospitals overwhelmed with patients during the crisis. She has been working alongside best friend Dimples Romana and fiance Neil Arce to provide isolation tents and even PPEs to hospitals and health workers in the Philippines.
Bea co-founded I AM HOPE ORG, a non-profit organization with her friends, providing relief goods and essentials such as face shields, alcohol, vitamins, and food for frontliners. They've recently expanded their focus beyond hospital walls and extended help to families in Tondo.
In an Instagram post last week, Bea wrote, "I AM HOPE ORG. does not limit its efforts to just the front liners. We also extend our help to the underprivileged. Kung kaya, tutulong...These are the families who were having a difficult time even before the lockdown. Sometimes, one meal is all they have."
Shaina is involved with Kythe Foundation, and has been pushing their Food for the Kids drive, which aims to help families of children with cancer affected by the quarantine, on Instagram.
In fact, she has been using her powerful social media platforms — she has 1.7m followers on Instagram — to share important information on how to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. She has also continuously expressed her thanks to frontliners.
She was also part of "Gabi ng Himala: Mga Awit at Kuwento," a fundraising event organized Sagip Pelikula, Lockdown Cinema Club, and the Ricky Lee Scriptwriting Workshop that aims to provide aid for displaced workers from the film industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Toni hosted ABS-CBN's Ligtas Pilipinas sa COVID-19, which gave important safety tips about social distancing amid the pandemic.
She also collaborated with her sister Alex Gonzaga to donate relief goods to those who are in need. Alex says she’s “proud” of her “generous and humble” sister who "has been continuously helping without posting anything."
Enchong has been working with Ria Atayde — whose parents Sylvia Sanchez and Art Atayde tested positive for COVID-19 and are now in recovery — to donate PPEs to frontliners. According to Enchong, they took donations from friends and fans and forwarded their fundraising efforts to the Office of the Vice President because "they have access to more hospitals."
