Raynier Brizuela’s “Asuang” will make its television premiere on Cinema One this April 19!
The comedy film, which was an official entry to the Cinema One Originals Film Festival back in 2018, tells the story of the mischievous god of sins, Asuang (Alwyn Uytingco) who lost his worth in a world run by sinful people. Asuang then tried to regain his lost glory by winning the hearts of people on social media.
Alwyn’s beautiful and hilariously tragic performance as a god longing for fame landed him the Best Supporting Actor award in the film fest.
“Asuang” also starred Chai Fonancier, Jon Lucas, Earle Figuracion, and Brenda Mage.
