Here's some good news to everyone who loved “Eerie": Director Mikhail Red just revealed that he is now developing a prequel for his hit horror movie.
The critically acclaimed director shared the news during a #KuwentuhanLang Facebook Live yesterday, April 15, with Mary Joy Apostol, Vance Larena, and Dimples Romana.
According to Direk Mikhail, his team is currently working on the prequel's story together with his cousin Rae Red and Hyro Aguinaldo. Their team still holds virtual meetings in spite of the enhanced community quarantine implemented in Luzon.
"Eerie" is a 2019 horror flick which starred Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo. It made waves in the international scene after it was made available for streaming on Netflix (https://www.netflix.com/title/81028404). It even topped the Harper Bazaar's Best Horror Movies of 2019 list, beating out 7 other horror films from all over the world.
"Eerie" also starred Jake Cuenca, Maxene Magalona, and Rise Artists Studio's Gillian Vicencio.
