There is no doubt that Bea Alonzo is one of the most versatile actresses of her generation, slaying every role she portrays, no matter what the genre.
In fact, her versatility isn’t just limited to her characters—she also proved that she can have chemistry with any and every leading man she is paired up with.
And today, we’re looking back at a number of unexpected leading men Bea has worked with in the past to relive all the unexpected kilig!
1. Vic Sotto
Before there was Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, there was Bea and Vic in the 2011 comedy "Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak!" Imagine the Movie Queen joining forces with the Prince of Comedy? It proved that Bea can go toe-to-toe with Vic’s comedic style.
2. Ronaldo Valdez
The 2012 romance drama “The Mistress” will always have a special place in our hearts because not only did it give us a unique look at marriage and affairs, it also gave us the unexpected love triangle between Bea, John Lloyd Cruz, and Ronaldo Valdez.
In the movie, Bea played Ronaldo's soft-hearted mistress, someone who truly did love him to the point that she was willing to be kept in the shadows.
3. Dingdong Dantes
Dingdong has had a number of films with Star Cinema, but perhaps one of our favorites would be the 2013 movie “She’s The One” with Bea and Enrique Gil. The two played childhood best friends in the film and later realized that they were actually in love with each other.
4. Enrique Gil
The other man in the “She’s The One" love triangle was Enrique. He had such intense chemistry with Bea that, to be honest, we were actually rooting for them to make it!
5. Paulo Avelino
Bea and Paulo first worked together in the television series “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon,” but it was only in the 2018 film “Kasal” that they actually worked together in a movie. And their chemistry was magic — well worth the wait!
6. Derek Ramsay
After working together in the 2009 film “And I Love You So,” Bea and Derek reunited for “Kasal.” Both movies showed how well these two looked together. Their visuals? 💯.
7. Aga Muhlach
The 2018 romance “First Love” finally made the legendary Bea-Aga team-up possible and it was everything we wanted. Their combined on-screen presence was so electric that you wouldn’t even think that it was their first movie together!
