Sylvia Sanchez and her husband Arturo Atayde are now both COVID-19 free.
The actress shared the good news on Facebook yesterday, April 14, after receiving their latest COVID-19 test results.
“The results from April 9 came back and they both tested negative!! 💛🙏🏼 Thank you for praying with us. 💛 Last stretch.✨” Sylvia wrote.
Sylvia also commended her doctors for their dedication in an Instagram post.
“Our heartfelt gratitude to these two doctors and the rest of their team for guiding me and my husband as we continue to fight COVID. Although we are clear from pneumonia, we continue to fight this sickness. I am one negative test away from going home ❤️” she wrote.
Sylvia first announced her and her husband’s condition last March 31. The couple has been confined in the hospital for their treatments and were finally cleared of pneumonia last April 8.
She is the latest celebrity to have recovered from the virus, following Iza Calzado and Christopher De Leon.
