The Gold Squad -- Kyle Echarri, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Andrea Brillantes -- are set to reunite in the upcoming teen horror film "All-Nighter."
During the film’s story conference held earlier today, March 9, the young stars, together with the film’s director Gino Santos, expressed their excitement over their first big screen project, which will be produced by ABS-CBN Films, Black Sheep.
“Very excited po pero medyo kinakabahan, kasi sinabi po sa amin na medyo magiging mahirap po 'yung treatment. Pero excited po ako kasi first movie namin 'to ng Gold Squad,” Andrea said.
“Excited ako kasama ko 'yung The Gold Squad. Base doon sa pinitch sa'min na kwento, excited akong gawin 'to,” Seth added.
Meanwhile, Francine said that her character in the movie is very far from her “Kadenang Ginto” character, “Ako po masaya ako kasi gusto ko po talaga mag-try ng bago, and ‘yung character ko po dito, ang layo niya sa Cassie.”
Kyle is also just as ecstatic for their project, “I'm very excited. I'm ready, [and] very happy that the four of us get to have a movie together.”
According to Direk Gino, the film will be based on Filipino folktales with the theme of “bangungot.”
“Everyone can relate, especially the youth kasi 'yung premise namin is about kids. Kasi ‘yung mga bata ngayon, masyadong pressured [to the point] na hindi na healthy. That is the best we want to show the youth now,” Direk Gino shared.
“All-Nighter” is slated for release very soon!
