Ellen Adarna's family-owned hotel in Davao, used as COVID-19 PUI accommodation

A hotel owned by Ellen Adarna’s family will temporarily serve as a home of patients under investigation (PUI) in Davao.

In an Instagram Story she posted last March 27, the actress shared a conversation between her and a follower of hers from Davao, as a response to netizens who are accusing her of being “happy happy” and not doing anything to help amid the coronavirus crisis.

"To some haters messaging me about puro lang ako ‘happy, happy and I'm not doing anything to help,’ here is my reply to you: [Davao Vice Mayor] Sebastian Duterte called me and asked if it was possible to use one of our establishments in Davao, and okay na. Solved na," she wrote.

Ellen is among the many celebrities who have extended help to Filipinos who have been affected by the COVID-19.
