Marcelito Pomoy was hailed as the third runner-up in "America's Got Talent: The Champions."
During the show’s grand finale aired just this Tuesday, February 18 (February 17 in U.S. time), the top five finalists were announced based on their performances from last week: Sandou Trio Russian Bar placed fourth, Tyler Butler-Figueroa finished second, and Duo Transcend was first runner-up.
The acrobatic dance group V. Unbeatable was named as the “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” winner.
Joan Paraiso, Marcelito’s wife, shared how grateful her husband was for the opportunity the show gave him.
“He just wanted to say thank you. Thank you so much to everybody. This is a big opportunity for him. Thank you so much,” Joan said.
One of the judges Heidi Klum also praised Marcelito for the wonderful performances he gave throughout the show.
“I love you so much. You have the most beautiful voice. I should actually say the most beautiful voices inside of you. You are a champion. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us,” she said.
Congratulations and we are very proud of you, Marcelito!
Marcelito first rose to fame after winning the second season of “Pilipinas Got Talent” in 2011.
