Metro Manila Film Festival goes digital this year, and Vhong Navarro couldn't be more grateful for his film "Mang Kepweng" to be part of this milestone.

Ito 'yung makabago," he said during the film's virtual media conference yesterday, December 8.

Among those who showed his support for the MMFF 2020 entry was his fellow "It's Showtime" host Vice Ganda. His partner, Ion Perez, is also one of the stars of "Mang Kepweng."

When asked why he and Vice have still yet to team up for a comedy film, Vhong shared his "theory."

With Anne (Curtis), meron silang hindi pa nagagawa sa 'It’s Showtime' na pwede nilang gawin sa movie," he said referring to their previous film "The Mall, The Merrier."

"Unlike us, lahat, eh.
