Liza Soberano's Auntie Cornelia has passed away.
The Kapamilya actress confirmed the sad news in an Instagram post yesterday, December 3. In the photos she uploaded, Liza shared some of the precious moments she had with her Auntie while in the hospital.
"Rest easy, Auntie Cornelia. You were an inspiration to many including myself. I am grateful for the opportunity to have spoken to you one last time," she wrote in the caption.
"I will cherish these moments and everything you have taught me forever. I love you. Please watch over all of us. ❤️🙏🏼" she added.
It can be remembered that Liza and her on-and-off screen partner Enrique Gil flew to the United States last September to attend to her ailing grandmother.
May your Auntie Cornelia's soul rest in peace, Liza.
Prior to her social media hiatus, Liza was caught in a "red-tagging" controversy after taking part in a webinar organized by Gabriela Women's Party.
