Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber share the challenges they faced this 2020

Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber shared their experience “surviving” 2020 when they appeared on “I Feel U” yesterday, December 27.

The love team shared that 2020 was supposed to be a project-packed year for them, but everything was sadly postponed because of the pandemic.

“Dapat magpunta na kami sa Japan for six months for teleserye, then balik dito for movie, tapos iWant series naman,” Maymay shared. “Sayang hindi natuloy dahil sa lockdown.”

And apart from their professional lives, the pandemic also took a toll on their personal plans as well. Maymay was supposed to visit her family in Japan and Camiguin, while Edward was supposed to fly out and tour several countries.

“My friends from Germany are in university now and some of them are in different countries, I was supposed to do like a tour and visit them,” he shared. “Eh ngayon even barbecue in your backyard, hindi na pwede.”

The pair also shared the moments they broke down because of what was happening. For Maymay, it was a combination of her personal and work lives.

“Ang haba ng pasensya ko… pero sa gabi parang bibigay ka talaga,” she said. “Parang ang daming hindi ma-control, sa isang araw parang sabay-sabay ‘yung mga nangyayari. Kapag sa trabaho okay lang sa’kin, pero kapag about sa family ko na, doon ako nagiging weak kasi sila ‘yung weakness ko and nate-test ‘yung patience ko.”

As for Edward, he shared that he remains grateful no matter how many problems he faced this year.

“2020 is the year that made me,” he said. “It grew me the most and challenged me the most. 2020 is most important year of my life.”
