What is Anne Curtis like in 'real life'? Her childhood friends spill!

Multi-hyphenate star Anne Curtis caught up with Toni Gonzaga on the digital talk show “I Feel U” last November 22, and she’s as blooming as ever!

Anne is currently in Australia with her husband Erwan Heussaff and their newborn daughter Dahlia Amelie. When asked how becoming a wife and a mother changed her, she said that she's experiencing a whole new level of love.

“When you start off as boyfriend and girlfriend it’s a new level, when you get engaged it’s a new level, when you get married para kayong new level of falling in love all over again, and when you have your first child together, I can’t explain what kind of love it is, but it’s a whole different level altogether that with every experience, it’s just so amazing,” she shared.

The “It’s Showtime” host’s journey in showbiz is very inspirational. When Toni asked her how she feels now that her dreams have come true, Anne said she is happy because “it was a very, very slow climb” to the top.

She continued, “That’s why it’s all the more very fulfilling to me, that I’ve reached those dreams that I’ve longed for so long. A lot of crazy things happened but each and every step, even all the mistakes that came along with it, I have no regrets because that’s made me who I am today.”

During the show, Anne’s childhood friends Kai Arguillo, Joen Umali, and Nikki Coscolluela joined in on the conversation and shared how they feel about having a superstar best friend.

They shared that even when they were young, Anne was a natural performer.

Nikki said, “Kasi para sa kanya, ‘yung pag-aartista, trabaho. Sa kanya, it’s work, to better herself and her craft, nothing really na malaki ‘yung ulo. Kaya siguro nandito siya where she is right now.”

Joen shared that she’s proud of Anne both as a celebrity and as a mother. “I’m proud of her kasi may bagong phase in life na siya a mother at talagang she’s doing well,” she said. "Aside from thriving as an actress, she’s also thriving at motherhood.”

Meanwhile, Kai believes that Anne inspires so many women. She said, “It’s not limited to her craft as a performer. In every aspect, she gives it a hundred plus percent, so that alone is very, very inspiring. ‘Yun nga, ‘yung simple pag-prepare ng meal ni Dahlia, all-out talaga. It’s not just in the acting career, maraming-marami talaga siyang mai-inspire na women out there.”

Apart from Anne, another go-getter Kapamilya also opened up about her story on “I Feel U.” 23-year-old businesswoman Denise Esguerare shared how she got into macramé making during the early months of quarantine and how it eventually turned into a business!

It wasn’t easy at first. She said, “It took us two months to actually create the brand, brainstorm about it. We launched last July, and okay naman, happy kami ng boyfriend ko dun sa work, so basically siya ‘yung finance and logistics ng business, and ako ‘yung nagha-handmade [ng items].”

Apart from spending time and effort in her kumikitang-kabuhayan, Denise is also a medical student. See how she does it here!
