Vice Ganda, Kim Chiu express gratitude for being part of Forbes Asia’s 100 Digital Stars

Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu have expressed how honored and happy they are to be included in Forbes Asia’s 100 Digital Stars list for 2020.

On Monday, December 7, Forbes released their lineup of Asia-Pacific’s Most Influential Celebrities on Social Media, which recognized prominent figures in music, film, and television who have “managed to remain active and relevant, largely by using social media to interact with their fans, raise awareness and inspire optimism. Many also used their influence to help worthy causes, especially those with a Covid-19 focus.”

On Wednesday, December 9, Vice thanked his social media followers for the continuous support.

He wrote, "It's an honor to be part of the list of Forbes Asia's 100 Digital Stars: Asia-Pacific’s Most Influential Celebrities on Social Media. Thank you to my social media followers for the continuous support and for allowing me to spread good vibes online in this time of pandemic and isolation. ❤"

 

Kim, who recently joined Vice as one of the hosts of the ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime,” was ecstatic over the announcement. On Tuesday, December 8, Kim shared how “her faith has been tested this year” and how she kept going through it all.

“I was sitting in this chair today(last photo) as I was able to rest a bit after our media con for #BawalLumabasTheSeries airing next monday dec14 on IWANT TFC, scrolled through my phone and social media then I saw this!!!!😱 HALA!!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱. Then I searched the link,” she said.

“TOTOO NGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!😭 OMG!!! OMG!!!!!!! No words!!!! I am a part of ASIA PACIFIC’s MOST INFLUENTIAL CELEBRITIES ON SOCIAL MEDIA!❤️😭 No words!!! 🥺FORBES!!! Sorry capital letters lahat!!!
