Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo and 2nd runner-up Michele Gumabao were spotted volunteering in relief operations for the benefit of Supertyphoon Rolly victims in Bicol.
Rabiya shared photos on Instagram yesterday, November 4. They were with other candidates.
"Together with my MUPH sisters, and Kuya @samverzosa and @rsfrancisco888, we were able to repack thousands of sacks of rice and canned goods for the benefit of the victims of Super Typhoon Rolly in the Bicol region. Babangon at babangon ang Pilipino basta magkakasama tayong lahat sa anumang hamon ng buhay!" she wrote in the caption.
Rabiya and Michele were seen smiling and having a conversation in footage shared by RS Francisco.
Last November 3, Michele made headlines when she broke her silence regarding the controversies that surrounded the pageant.
In a vlog, the beauty queen detailed her MUPH journey and opened up about her heartbreak after she "heard things I never should have heard, witnessed things I never should have witnessed as a candidate.”
