Mae Cruz-Alviar drops an easter egg about the iconic Teddie-Bobbie rivalry

Let's finally settle this: Ano nga ba ang inuwi ni Mama (Coney Reyes) galing Divisoria para pagpilian nina Teddie (Toni Gonzaga) at Bobbie (Bea Alonzo)? Pants or bags?

In the 2013 family drama “Four Sisters and A Wedding,” the now-iconic confrontation scene between Teddie and Bobbie was a highlight. In her "Bakit parang kasalanan ko?" monologue, Bobbie referenced some grievances from their teenage years. If you don't remember what we're talking about, here's the quote:

On Wednesday, November 25, netizen Hana Gonzales tagged the director of “Four Sisters Before the Wedding,” Mae Cruz-Alviar in a post and asked some details about the prequel.

Direk Mae clarified, “Pants po ‘yun, not bags.”

Star Cinema Creative Director Vanessa Valdez, who wrote the screenplay of both the 2013 movie and the upcoming prequel, then reshared Direk Mae’s answer and wrote, “Sinagot na ni Direk Mae!

The netizen admitted her “mistake” on Instagram Stories and replied, “Direk I’m sorry, sorry Direk.
