Geneva Cruz opens up about her relationship with American boyfriend

Former Smokey Mountain lead singer and "Anak ng Pasig" hitmaker Geneva Cruz gave us updates about love and life!

In an interview on Toni Gonzaga's virtual talk show "I Feel U," the sexy celebrity opened up about how much her life has changed since leaving the limelight.

Six years ago, she left the Philippines to give birth to her second child in the United States. But while she was there, she decided to stay for a few more years so she could spend time with her then-teenage son Heaven.

Geneva worked a 9-5 job to provide for Heaven and daughter London. With the help of her mom, she was able to raise her kids. She said, "It was a different life but I enjoyed it very much. It taught me to be a better mother."

Last February, she went back to the Philippines for good.

Geneva also shared more details about her relationship with her boyfriend, American concert producer Nikolaus Booth.

She shared, "I was living in LA, and he was living on the East Coast, in Virginia. And he was one of my producers, that's how I met him."

"He was a marine. Ang kaibahan dito kasi, alam mo 'yung tao na kapag may sinabi siya, ginagawa niya? 'Yung merong paninindigan, may prinsipyo, very important sa akin 'yung honest, 'yung hindi sasayangin 'yung oras mo."

She continued, "That's what I need, 'yung lalaki na hindi pa-macho pero alam mo na he can also lead the way."

As for staying fit and fabulous despite having a hectic schedule, Geneva said, "It's okay to take care of your children [of course], but you [also] have to take care of yourself. Kung nandyan naman, may na-meet ka then 'yung romance nandyan, because it makes you feel good, it makes you inspired, so, 'yun 'yun."

The episode also featured Kapamilya moms and BFFs Aly and Elaine, who were able to have a thriving candle business during the pandemic.

They said, "Akala po namin hindi papatok kasi hindi naman basic need."

But they were surprised by the feedback of their customers, who said that they loved the relaxing energy that the candles exude.
