It was all about keeping it real in the second episode of "Ask Angelica" with her special guest, Ivana Alawi!
The two, together with the ka-TTs Via Antonio and Kean Cipriano, got real about accepting imperfections, loving yourself, and a whole lot of topics about life and love.
Here's a look back at the fun episode, which went live last October 2.
In the show, Ivana revealed the reason she doesn't like wearing bras. She also revealed that she has owned a grand total of two bras for the past eight years.
"Ayokong nag-ba-bra kasi lalo siyang lumalaki saka lalong sinasabi [ng mga tao], 'Ang laki ng boobs mo.' Gusto ko walang padding," she explained.
Yet another revelation from Ivana was her deep admiration for "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" star Coco Martin.
"Natutuwa ako sa pag-arte niya, sa pag-direk niya, mahusay siya," Ivana spoke of Coco whom she has worked with in the long-time running primetime series.
Ivana also opened up about her viral bus wash challenge, which she took on for the late Youtuber Lloyd Cadena who passed away last September.
"Pinuntahan ko 'yung last video niya, sobrang sakit sa puso. As in 'yung madinig niya 'yung name ko sa vlog niya na minention niya ['yung bus wash challenge]. Hindi ako makatulog ng gabing 'yun. Gusto kong makatulong sa pamilya niya. Isa ako sa mga napasaya niya," she shared.
Of course, the episode was also full of hugot and wisdom as they gave advice to the callers.
One of them was torn between following her parents' rules and what her heart says, while the other was longing for a partner during the lockdown.
On following your parents or your heart when it comes to love, Angelica said, "Kaya tayo may mga ate at mga magulang kasi usually naman tama sila. Sundin natin ang makakabuti sa'tin. Makakapaghintay 'yan kung talagang malinis ang intensyon niya sa'yo."
Apart from love problems, they also answered questions about the struggles of being a woman, from having big boobs and experiencing hate.
Ivana also gave advice to women who are struggling to love themselves.
"It's time to focus on yourself. Kailangan trabahuhin mo sarili mo mahalin mo 'yung sarili mo and everything will come after that," she said.
Angelica emphasized that everyone should learn to love themselves.
"Na-appreciate ko kung paano na-empower 'yung pagmamahal mo sa katawan mo and sa personality mo. Pagmamahal mo on the inside and kung paano mo iwo-workout yung pagkatao mo on the inside. Siguro doon nagi-istart yung lahat kapag may mabuti kang puso, nagre-reflect siya on the outside," she enthused.
