Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil are being "courted" by Star Cinema for an upcoming film project.
In a thanksgiving event, ABS-CBN Films Managing Director Olivia Lamasan called LizQuen one of Star Cinema's "favorite love teams" and revealed that the production house is gearing up for a special project just for the two, if ever and whenever they will be available for a shoot.
"Nililigawan pa namin 'yung dalawa kasi medyo kinakabahan 'pag dating sa taping, natatakot, lalo na si [Enrique]. That's very understandable, that's really human. Most of our artists ganyan, natatakot lumabas," Direk Olivia said.
She continued, "But we have, and recently, submitted ang napakagandang sequence treatment for the two. Base doon, sana sobra silang magandahan na sabihin nila, 'ok, game na, maglo-lock-in na kami.' That's something we could all look forward to."
Under The New Normal, Star Cinema has adhered to safety protocols that require "lock-in" periods — a film's cast and production crew stay quarantined in the same area for weeks while filming. This is done to minimize the risk of transmission.
