Alex Gonzaga reveals she and her family survived COVID-19

Alex Gonzaga has revealed that she and her family contracted COVID-19, and have now recovered.

The celebrity vlogger shared a 24-minute video of her "COVID journey" on Youtube yesterday, October 23.

Actually the whole family."

Alex's parents Pinty and Bonoy were asymptomatic. Meanwhile Alex, her assistant Sofie, and her fiancé Mikee Morada showed symptoms such as sore throat, loss of taste, feeling weak, and clogged nose.

She continued, "I’ve been sharing all the highs of my life. I shared with you our Christmas together, our new year, my engagement. But it is also nice if I could share with you the lows."

At one point in her vlog, Alex was crying as she opened up about her pain.

She said, "Gusto ko ikasal ngayon kasama 'yung family, konting friends pero dahil sa walang kakwenta-kwentang bagay, nakuha namin COVID."

By the end of the video, the celebrity vlogger said, "We really have to be extra careful. You can survive COVID. Kaya niyo, 'wag kayo mag-panic, and if ever man na hindi niyo na nakakayanan, you consult [a] doctor and as much as possible, you really have to take good care of your body."
