Barbie Imperial admits to breaking down on the set of new show

Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial has opened up about her struggles with loneliness while taping "Bagong Umaga" in lockdown.

"Mahirap po talaga. Sobrang hirap po lalo po kapag sanay ka po na kasama mo palagi 'yung pamilya mo," she said in a story by PUSH today, October 20.

"Bagong Umaga" is an upcoming ABS-CBN show that also stars Heaven Peralejo, Tony Labrusca, Michelle Vito, Kiko Estrada, and Yves Flores.

Due to the COVID-19 safety protocols, the cast and crew had to be locked in, on location, while filming the show. Barbie shared that she misses her brother the most.

The "Pinoy Big Brother: 737" alum shared that she is thankful that she could be open about her feelings to their director.

Ganyan, ganyan," she said.

Ultimately, Barbie remains "thankful and grateful" to be given work opportunities amidst the pandemic.

And 'yun po 'yung pinaka-importante—magkaroon po ako ng trabaho," she said.

"Bagong Umaga" airs on Thursday, October 26 at 2:30 PM on A2Z channel 11 and other ABS-CBN platforms.
