It’s been 25 years since “Pare Ko” was released, and it’s remained as one of the best barkada movies to date.
And in celebration of the film’s silver anniversary, we pay tribute to the legendary cast—Claudine Barretto, Jomari Yllana, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jao Mapa, Victor Neri, Gio Alvarez, and Nikka Valencia—by looking at how much they’ve grown from their teenage years. Now, our favorite on-screen barkada are loving parents to beautiful children. See their photos down below:
1. Claudine Barretto and her kids Sabina, Santino, Quia, and Noah
The Optimum Star is now a very hands-on mom of two daughters and two sons -- Sabina (16), Santino (13), Quia (4), and Baby Noah. As seen on her posts on Instagram, Claudine always makes sure to spend some quality time with her kids.
Just last December, they recently held a joint birthday celebration for Sabina and Santino.
2. Jomari Yllana and his sons Andre, Ayrton, and Fangio
Jomari is blessed to have his three mini-mes: Andre (20), Ayrton (1), and his newborn Fangio. His eldest Andre has been vocal for his love for cars, and is now taking an Automotive course in college.
3. Mark Anthony Fernandez and sons Grae and Rudolf
Just like Jomari, Mark Anthony also has three boys: Grae (18), Rudolf (4), and Leandro. Grae followed in the footsteps of his father, now making his own name in showbiz. He’s part of the group Gimme 5, and most recently starred in the weekend series “Hiwaga ng Kambat.”

4. Jao Mapa
One of the hottest matinee idols in the ‘90s, Jao now has three wonderful kids: Ben, Caleb, and Stacey. Once in a while, the actor shares family portraits on his Instagram.
5. Nikka Valencia
Ever since Nikka took a step back from the limelight, she has become a teacher and had been busy taking care of her three children.
