Love is definitely in the air this February on the Cinema One channel!
For this month, Cinema One is bringing you some of the greatest love stories ever told in film—from stories about finding your one true love to falling in love with your best friend. Each weekend, you can catch one of these films to satisfy your kilig, so make sure to watch out for these dates:
February 2 - “Hamog” (2016)
“Hamog” showed us the reality of life of four street children, Rashid (Zaijian Jaranilla), Jinky (Teri Malvar), Tisoy (Sam Quintana), and Moy (Bon Lentejas), each with a different perspective on how they survived their day-to-day life.
February 9 - “Tisay” (2013)
Starring Nathalie Hart, JC De Vera, and Joel Torre, “Tisay” told the complicated love story between Christina (Nathalie) and Simon (JC).
February 16 - “Shift” (2013)
“Shift” will make you go “aww” with its cute love story between a boyish woman portrayed by Yeng Constantino who falls in love with her gay friend portrayed by Felix Roco.
February 23 - “Baka Bukas” (2016)
The 2016 film centered around the story of Alex (Jasmin Curtis), who fell for her best friend Jess (Louise Delos Reyes). When Jess found out the truth about Alex’s sexuality, the two were forced to confront their unresolved issues.
March 1 - “Lorna” (2014)
Still haven’t found your one true love? You might just relate to this 2014 film which was about a 60-year-old woman who still believed in finding The One even after her many failed relationships.
