It's been more than five years since Joshua Garcia joined show business.
The 22-year-old actor, who was dubbed as the “Tatay’s Boy of Batangas” in “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” in 2014, has come a long way since he left Kuya's famous yellow house. He starred in a number of television shows — “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita” and “The Greatest Love,” followed by his leading roles in “The Good Son,” “Ngayon At Kailanman,” and most recently in “The Killer Bride.”
He debuted on the big screen in the 2015 film “You’re Still The One,” followed by his iconic role as Tonying in the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold.”
In 2016, Joshua finally landed his first leading role in “Vince and Kath and James.” A few months after, he starred in back-to-back hits “Love You To The Stars and Back” and “Unexpectedly Yours.”
His latest big screen outing was in the 2018 rom-com “I Love You, Hater” which also marked the big screen return of the Queen of all Media Kris Aquino.
Now, Joshua is coming back to cinema in the much-awaited action film “Block Z” helmed by Mikhail Red.
It also stars Julia Barretto, Ian Veneracion, Ina Raymundo, Dimples Romana, McCoy De Leon, Maris Racal, and Yves Flores. It is slated for release this January 29!
