"Hello, Love, Goodbye" has touched many hearts, including the mother of one of the film's stars, Maymay Entrata.
Apart from being part of the record-breaking film, Maymay is also grateful for the fulfillment the project gave her, especially since she was able to realistically portray and give life to the role of an OFW, just like her mom.
"'Yung nanay ko, dahil 28 years siya na OFW, sabi niya sa'kin, 'Sobrang na-appreciate ko 'yung movie niyo,'" she shared during her speech at the Thanksgiving Party yesterday, September 3.
"Kasi bilang isang OFW, mas marami nang nakakaintindi na tao kung ano talaga 'yung totoong nangyayari—paghihirap, sakripisyo, at kung ano 'yung estado ng OFW."
