Kathryn Bernardo has nothing but words of praise for her “Hello, Love, Goodbye” co-star Alden Richards.
During the festivities of their Thanksgiving Party last night, September 3, the actress was able to thank the actor for the wonderful experience they had while working on the blockbuster hit.
According to her, she was a bit wary when Star Cinema Managing Director Olivia Lamasan and Blockbuster Film Director Cathy Garcia Molina first suggested that Alden will be her leading man for the project.
“Actually noong sinabi nila na si Alden, ‘di ko alam kung ano mafi-feel ko kasi natakot ako, tinanong ko kung ‘Inang, posible ba ‘yun?’ Kasi alam natin na parang imposible dati,” she admitted.
Despite her worries, the actress felt nothing but happiness when she had a chance to work with the actor.
“I’m really glad na si Alden ‘yung napili nila Inang and Direk Cathy. Kasi ang laking tulong po niya sa akin. Sobra ‘yung respeto. Nakita niya kung paano lahat ng adjustment. Thank you talaga. Sa bawat eksena, tinulungan ako ni Alden,” she explained said.
Kathryn also revealed that she hopes "Hello, Love, Goodbye" won’t be her last project with Alden.
“Sana mag-open ‘to ng maraming opportunities pa sa kanya, because he’s a good person, wonderful person. Sana this won’t be the last.”
“Naging kaibigan ko si Alden sa pelikula na ‘to, masasabi ko, ‘di lang siya 'yung Alden Richards na napapanood sa TV, kilala ko si Alden, buong pagkatao niya ngayon. Siguro mas na-appreciate natin siyang lahat because of that. Thank you for the chance and thank you for being here.”
“Happy ako na nangyari ‘tong lahat, and shine-share ko 'tong success na 'to with Direk Cathy, Inang, and si Alden,” she ended.
“Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which also stars Maymay Entrata, Jameson Blake, Joross Gamboa, Lovely Abella, and Anthony Jennings, has already earned more than ₱880.6 million in the box office as of September 3. It is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
