Kathryn on 'Hello, Love, Goodbye' experience: 'Binuo niya pagkatao ko'

Kathryn Bernardo has no regrets in taking on the role of Joy in her latest record-breaking hit, “Hello, Love, Goodbye!”

During the film’s Thanksgiving Party last night, September 3, the actress gave a humble and powerful speech about how she was able to grow as a person through Joy.

She began, “Nagstart ang year na 'to about growth, personal growth sa akin.”

As in hirap na parang ayoko na.

Hawak kamay kaming lahat dito. "

Kathryn also gave her heartfelt thanks to Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina, who guided her all throughout the "Hello, Love, Goodbye" journey.

“Thank you and I'm sorry if I hurt you, kung 'di ko masyado naintindihan.

Lastly, the actress imparted the very important lesson she learned while doing the film: how to believe in yourself.

"Lahat tayo, we can be more. It's okay to love yourself, na unahin mo minsan sarili mo kasi tayo ‘yun. I don't love you guys. Lahat kayo magstay sa buhay ko.”

The film, which marked the first big screen team-up of Kathryn with Alden Richards, has already earned over ₱880.6 million in the box office and is now hailed the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
