Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were honored to be a part of this year’s ABS-CBN Ball.
At the red carpet last Saturday, September 14, we got the chance to interview the reel-to-real life couple to get their thoughts on the event’s aim to raise funds for Bantay Bata 163’s educational program.
According to Kathryn, she was honored to take part in the Ball which honored the legacy left by the late ABS-CBN Foundation chairperson Gina Lopez.
The actress said, “It’s such an honor to be invited and to attend the ABS-CBN Ball, not just because of fashion but because of what it represents, lalo na ngayon, extra special talaga kasi nga, tonight talaga, binibigyan natin ng focus ang Bantay Bata 163’s Bantay Edukasyon, and I think that’s a very important advocacy and gusto natin ituloy at i-honor ang nasimulan ang ating boss na si Ms. Gina Lopez.”
“I’m sure kung nasaan siya ngayon, matutuwa siya kasi itong night na ito para sa mga gustong niyang tumulong sa Bantay Bata,” Kathryn added.
Daniel, on the other hand, shared how happy he is to celebrate and enjoy a night with his fellow Kapamilya stars while raising awareness.
“Masarap na nag-eenjoy tayo tonight at the same time tumutulong tayo for this advocacy na para sa Bantay Bata 163,” the actor said.
Kathryn and Daniel topbilled the groundbreaking hit “The Hows of Us” back in 2018. Kathryn also led the cast of “Hello, Love, Goodbye,'' the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, released this year.
