FIRST TAKE: Joy and Ethan made memories in these Hong Kong spots and you should, too!

Planning on exploring Hong Kong soon? We’ve got some suggestions! Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, stars of Cathy Garcia-Molina’s newest film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” took us on a ride to Hong Kong, based on the places their characters have made memories in.

If you’ve already seen the film, friendly warning: your feelings might be all over the place after watching the video. But, if you haven’t yet, these exclusive behind-the-scenes will surely get you curious!

Before you watch the “Hello Love Goodbye” First Take video, here are some of the notable places mentioned that you should totally visit when you’re in Hong Kong.

Cheung Chau

Alden’s character, Ethan, lives here in Cheung Chau. The island is a fishing village, so you can expect an abundance of fresh seafood products. The place is also popular for the Bun Festival which takes place every month of May, and tourists flock to celebrate with locals. It’s a 45-minute boat ride from the Harbour so it’s pretty accessible for when you want to get some island life experience!

Central

Central is the business center of Hong Kong. Skyscrapers, restaurants, entertainment hubs, shopping, and everything about that vibrant city life is synonymous to Central.

But on Sundays, crowds of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) gather at the streets of this place to spend their day-off. In “Hello, Love, Goodbye” we will get a peek at how Central has become like a home to Filipinos in Hong Kong.
