KC Concepcion is thrilled for her sister Frankie Pangilinan's choice to pursue college in the Big Apple.
The actress took to Instagram today, August 28, to leave a sweet note for her younger sister as she flew back to Manila after taking a five-day trip to New York with their mom Sharon Cuneta, Kiko Pangilinan, and their other siblings.
"My sister is off to college and I’m overflowing with excitement for her!" she wrote in caption.
She added, "Plus, I’ve been silently pursuing professional studies in Gemology here while jetting back and forth for work/shoots/endorsements in the PH too! 🗽✨ That means, if we have Paris, we will also always have New York!"
"Thankful that we have opportunities to learn both in our home country and abroad—this is a new chapter for you Frankie and a fresh season for us as a fam," she continued. "I love you and have so much faith and hope for you! I can’t believe it’s your turn to do this now! I hope you enjoy university as much as I did."
"There will be ups, downs, and figuring things out in between, and that’s all perfectly fine," she reminded her. "Plus, I’m right here if and when you need me as your big sis. Let’s take on New York! You can do it!"
Best of luck on your studies in New York, Frankie! ❤
Prior to starting her jewelry business, KC starred in the 2011 film "For The First Time" alongside Richard Gutierrez. Like Frankie, KC also had the opportunity to attend college abroad; she studied at The American University of Paris in France.
