Zanjoe Marudo assured everyone that he's recovering after the injury he sustained at the Star Magic All-Star Games 2019.
The actor took to Instagram yesterday, August 26, to share photos of the minor injury on his right eyebrow. He was accidentally hit by Eric Tai mid-air during the basketball game last August 25. His injury, which needed some stitches, led him to withdraw from the game.
"Malayo sa bituka," Zanjoe assured in his caption. He also extended his congratulations to his team who brought home the win, writing, "Congrats, Team Red! 🏀"

Members from the opposing team including Vhong Navarro, Ryan Bang, Jhong Hilario, Teddy Corpuz, and Jugs Jugueta expressed their sympathy to Zanjoe on Instagram.
Team Blue's Team Captain Vice Ganda also expressed his heartfelt apology for what happened to Zanjoe.

Zanjoe last starred in the 2018 Black Sheep-produced film "To Love Some Buddy" alongside Maja Salvador.
