Rosanna Roces has officially joined the powerhouse cast of the upcoming drama film from Star Cinema!
The "Los Bastardos" actress happily announced her inclusion in a film starring Bea Alonzo, Richard Gutierrez, and Angelica Panganiban in an Instagram post today, August 15. According to Rosanna, she will play the role of Bea's mother in the movie.
"After 17 years, babalik [na] ang inyong lingkod bilang nanay ni Bea Alonzo sa isang pelikula mula [sa] Star Cinema," she wrote in the caption.
The drama movie, which will be directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, is a story of friendship that will be tested further by their marriages because they will end up marrying brothers.

It will also mark Direk Mae's comeback project after taking a break in filmmaking.

Prior to the movie, Rosanna last appeared in the 2013 crime-thriller "On The Job" with Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson, Joel Torre, and Joey Marquez. She can currently be seen in the afternoon series "Los Bastardos."
Bea, on the other hand, topbilled the 2018 romance-drama "Kasal" alongside Paulo Avelino and Derek Ramsay.
